In order to advance to the new levels of war technologies, the US government decides to build new research complex. But the main problem, was to find the most suitable place for it. Not only this place should be easy to reach (through road, plane, sea and train), but it should be secret enough, to not cause any public interest, like Area-51 does, which hurts development of the next generation planes. The other reason, is the kind of experiments that are going to take place there - they are illegal, and dangerous for environment, so there is no possibility, that the base is going to be build on USA soil.

After a long and hard decision process, the location has been picked - Paldiski, Estonia. On the first glance, it felt stupid, but after some time, it started to make sense.

Paldiski was important closed city during Soviet Union times, it was a playground for nuclear submarine pilots. After Estonian Independence, the city is opened to everyone, but allot of equipment was left. Including nuclear submarine reactor.

The secret base codename "RedRat" is going to be build 100 meters bellow the surface, under old Soviet nuclear submarine test facility. In order to cover up secret base building, myth about so-called "Nuclear reactor closing and radiation consequences removing" was created, that was financed by US and other countries governments. The fictional local company was created to take care of object defenses and keep it closed for anyone.

The initial cover plan included 10 year underground base building period, surface rector and nearby buildings removal process, to cover the real work. After this additional 50 year period of maintenance is used. During this building time, allot of lab equipment was secretly moved in, and huge amounts of sand and earth soil was torn and moved away, but still it was unnoticed by anyone. After 10 years of work, the base is almost build.

Most of the base complexes are operational, some of the experiments are already in the final stage. The cybertech part of the lab, was one of the first to become operational, so most of the experiments and researches had come to the last step.

The latest project is so called "BLAZE" the most advanced AI, in the body of robot. But during the software upload program, power went down, and process failed. With incorrect software, "BLAZE" went out of control. Its up to you to be that Blaze, to stay alive, and to escape that base.
